We are delighted to introduce you to one of our Women’s Business School graduates Cathy Dimarchos, Founder of Solutions2you

When did you start your business?

I became a “FULL TIME”  Entrepreneur in 2019 as the Founder and CEO of Solutions2you, however I have had a side hustle since 1997 when both my children were young.

What was the inspiration behind starting this business?

I wanted to create real impact on a bigger scale. I knew I had knowledge to share but doing that on a bigger scale became a vision. It was about creating a ripple effect and this meant that I would need to step out on my own so I could show others it was possible.

What are you most excited about in your business?

The endless possibilities for my clients and how they contribute to enriching the lives of others across the globe, as I pay it forward through the work I do in developing countries. As a Conscious business and a social enterprise, my focus is on developing people and supporting them to achieve goals. It is about actualising dreams and allowing people to see that they can make decisions that enable them to live at a high vibration whilst they too elevate others around them and people across the globe. My business has developed Leadership Programs for young aspiring leaders and we pay for young people in developing nations to go through our programs for free.

What has been the most challenging thing about starting your business?

Finding a community where I am amongst positive and inspirational women who strive to do things similar to me.

What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting a business?

Starting a business is easy, when you have the right people in your corner – it has its challenges, but if you surround yourself with the right people who inspire you and challenge you and you create a solid roadmap – you can grow and develop and reap the rewards from your hard work.

Why did you choose to do the Women’s Business School Programs?

I became part of the community because it felt right. The women were grounded and were striving to achieve a goal. I didn’t need any support with Business Coaching, as I do this for a living -it’s my place of genius, but I just wanted a community that I could contribute to and be surrounded my “whole women” who were comfortable to be themselves and who wanted the best for others.

What did you enjoy the most about being part of the program?

Getting to know some amazing women across the country and forging some great friendships. I also loved that women would reach out for support as this shows that they are comfortable in being who they are and confident in asking for help. Asking for helps is one thing that we as women seldom do, so I encourage you to raise your hand and ask for what you need.

What surprised you most about the program?

It was that I met other incredible women who were doing amazing things. It reinforced that I was not an island planning big and that others had inspirational and impactful goals they were mapping out to achieve as well.

What’s happening next in your business?

I am taking my business Globally, this has already begun. I am also taking the Raise the Baseline Programs Globally. We are currently launching our 3rd program and this one is now part of a school program in Tanzania with 160 students enrolled. I am so excited about the impact we will make not only on the students, but their families and the staff and the others students in the school.

What are your big plans for the future?

Scaling , scaling and creating impact that lifts the lives of many. Mostly I am excited to show others the power in paying things forward and how we can make choices today that shape a better tomorrow.
