Cherie Gregory

Cherie Gregory is mother of four and with her husband is co-owner of Koben Digital, one of Australia’s premiere digital marketing and development agencies partnering with government clients, internationally recognised not for profits and commercial enterprises.

As a mother of four life has been hectic and full for Cherie, but she has risen to the challenge helping build Koben’s reputation as an industry leader in the area of content management using the Umbraco CMS for which she was awarded an MVP for 2019/2020.

Cherie’s passion is for family and it is through this passion she recently launched the Thumsters Parenting App on IOS and Android. Thumsters encourages kids to make intentional, respectful behaviour decisions, in line with family’s values. Thumsters is growing world-wide, specifically in the USA, and has garnered interest from the educational market. It is this interest that now sees Cherie embarking on her biggest endevour to date, Thumsters in Schools.

Leanne Murner

Leanne is a mum of 5 boys, ranging in age from 2 to 8 who loves hot coffee, caravan adventures and gardening. After attending the Ausmumpreneur awards in 2018, she came home bursting with inspiration! With timber off cuts piling up from her other business Leanne was excited to find sustainable use. She was approached by a preschool educator about making puzzles and sensory items. After extensive research, she found that there was an obvious void in the market for Australian themed educational resources. With focusing on teaching Australian kids about their own backyard 5 Little Bears was born. All of her products are skillfully handmade in New South Wales and are proudly Licenced Australian Made.

Heidi is an inspiring North Queensland Mum who has a passion for workplace safety. She has a hard working rural background and is not afraid of having a go. She spends her spare time volunteering as a Councillor for NECA Qld Board, spending time with her family in their chosen sport of Speedway Racing and supporting her 17 year old son through his final year at school. Heidi does an incredible job of juggling her personal life, business commitments and strives to improve herself and her knowledge at every opportunity.

Heidi is relentless when it comes to achieving goals. She started her Electrical Safety business, Norsafe, 10 years ago and has built it from the ground up, now employing up to 8 people at a time, mainly women. They provide service maintenance support in regional and remote Far North Queensland. Services include, test & tag, RCD testing, thermal imaging and appliance repairs.

Sarah Walkerden

Sarah Walkerden, The Rural Copywriter, helps rural and regionally based businesses (including the agricultural and equestrian industries), boost their Google rankings and win over scores of adoring customers, through effective digital marketing messaging and strategy.

Specialising in writing SEO-friendly website copy and sales funnel copywriting, Sarah also helps businesses to develop effective content marketing strategies for blogs and social media.

Sarah operates under a strict ‘no-fluff, no bull-dust’ policy. There’s no ‘beating around the bush’, just direct and genuine advice. Rebecca Corbett

In 2015, Rebecca opened her bookkeeping firm, Tally and Tick. Her knowledge and experience supported her clients to effectively manage business finances through bookkeeping, payroll and ATO Lodgements. While working with her clients Rebecca saw a reoccurring trend, her clients had great ideas and goals but were unable to find a clear way forward with their ideas to achieve their goals. This created the motion of taking on the official title of Business Specialist in 2017.  After 4 successful years in business, Rebecca implemented her exit strategy and sold Tally and Tick. She continues to inspire other business owners to maintain a healthy work/life balance through the implementation of automation strategies, allowing businesses to increase their productivity and profits.

Emma Heuston

Emma Heuston is a lawyer and service business magic maker.

Emma heads up The Remote Expert, a virtual law firm designed to help women with online service businesses by ensuring they have adequate legal protection while also recognising they started their business to create work/ life balance and have more time, freedom and money.

With a second qualification in online business strategy, Emma also assists service business owners plan ahead and grow their business, by looking at how they deliver their services and putting into place legal protections around those growth strategies. Examples include online courses or in person retreats, which change service delivery from 1:1 to one to many, but need additional legal protections.

Emma lives by the beach with her husband, son and a menagerie of pets, after leaving Sydney for a sea change over 6 years ago and cherishes her remote first lifestyle.

Davina Borrow-Jones

Davina is the founder, and sole practitioner at The Mumpreneur Lawyer. Davina helps Mum start-ups protect their businesses from legal risk with personalised online legal packages. She offers fixed prices and flexible appointment times for Mums, which makes the customer journey a breeze. She specialises in e-commerce and contract drafting, and also intellectual property and trademarks.

Davina has been a lawyer for over 15 years. She started working for big corporate law firms in outsourcing and intellectual property in 2005, and then developed a broader focus on commercial matters. For the last 10 years she has worked predominantly with small businesses.

Davina is an advocate for gender equality and women’s empowerment, or more particularly a Mum’s economic empowerment. She has performed international human rights pro bono work, and pro bono work for organisations set up to deal with various crisis situations such as the recent bush fires on the south coast, and Covid-19.

Yona Signo

Vanessa Fiducia

Vanessa Fiducia is the mum of 2 amazing young children and the Co-Founder/CEO of Profit First Accounting. She is Certified in Fix This Next and Profit First Methodologies.

The business started when Vanessa was trying to juggle the work life balance of working a part-time job and owning a small bookkeeping practice. Vanessa had a great relationship with her Co-Founder and together they decided to merge Vanessa’s small bookkeeping practice and her Co-Founders small Accounting Firm.

Vanessa has managed at the age of 28 to grow the business 683% in terms of financial growth in the last 12 months. As well as grow from a team of 2 to a team of 7.

Sandra Heathwood

Sandra has worked in the Youth and Community Services sector for 22 years and is particularly passionate about the development and sustainability of professional Youth Work practice in Regional and Remote areas. Sandra has designed and managed multi award winning Youth Services & Projects in some of WA’s most remote and isolated communities. She also, together with her Chef husband, has owned and operated award winning Karratha based cafe “Soul” since January 2017.

She Co-Founded Blue Beanie Projects in 2015, a not for profit health promotion charity working with 5-25 year olds, aimed at building children and young people’s self esteem, confidence, resilience, social and emotional wellbeing, health and connection to community.

In 2019, Sandra was recognised for her outstanding leadership skills and contributions to community; named City of Karratha’s Citizen of the Year; Karratha Chamber of Commerce Business Woman of the Year; Winner of the Pilbara Community Service Awards’ Outstanding Demonstration of Leadership award; and was together with her husband was named as one of Karratha’s 15 most influential people.

Rachael Ferguson

Rachael Ferguson is an award-winning entrepreneur, podiatrist and CEO of Australian footcare company SynxBody.

Passionate about foot health and keeping people on their feet Rachael founded Synxbody with her colleague after designing and patenting their own insole which fitted into a wider range of shoes than other insoles on the market.

After appearing on the TV show Shark Tank in 2015, and receiving investment from Andrew Banks the company has grown rapidly and now has over 20 products with ranging in Chemist Warehouse and selected pharmacies and international opportunities on the horizon. 

Rachael regularly speaks at seminars and in the media about common podiatry topics, general health and entrepreneurship.  She has also published a wide range of blogs and videos on common podiatry complaints and is also an ambassador for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) which is an non-for profit organisation to empower, support and celebrate women in business.

Rachel Neate

Rachel is a mother of her adorable 2-year-old daughter, Lily, and is expecting her second. She started her Physiotherapy Practice in June of 2016. Rachel works in the practice full time as the Principal Physiotherapist, manages the practice and staff of 9 full time, and cares for her daughter, with her husband Rhys. Preston Physiotherapy started as a one room clinic within a massage practice, where Rachel worked alone treating for up to 60 hours a week as the business and her reputation grew. Now, the practice has moved to a larger location with four treatment rooms, a small gym and has a satellite Pilates studio that was opened in June 2020. The practice started with one patient per week and now sees over 200 per week. In her “spare” time, Rachel is a keen cake maker, preparing fancy fondant covered cakes with handmade figurines for her family’s birthdays.

Nicola Le Lievre

Nicola is proudly surpassing 22 years in the beauty industry and has crafted her passion into becoming a multi-award-winning industry leader featured on Channel 7, The Courier Mail, 9News and Professional Beauty Magazine.

Originally from South Africa, Nicola immigrated here in 2007 after being involved in a robbery where she had a gun pointed at her which ultimately was the reason for her life to take another direction.

Since 2014, Nicola has been intherapy’s Chief Glow-Getter for her Red Hill community.

Creating unforgettable client relationships throughout her 6 years owning intherapy, her community is what inspires her to deliver the industry’s best each day.

Lynda Pedder

Making world class artisan gourmet chocolates since 2005, Poppy’s Chocolate is considered by many to be Australia’s best chocolatier. Poppy’s supplies to international hotels, Jetstar, retailers, and food franchises with over 300 products. Poppy’s Chocolate brings joy to people in sad and happy times with delicious chocolates that become gifts people give themselves and others.

Lynda Pedder started the business with a passion for chocolate and two young children (now three). She opened a chocolate café 6 weeks later, the first chocolate café in Qld, Choclicious. A 2nd café opened in 2007 to franchise but the GFC ended this dream. She sold both stores, losing money and her marriage in the years following. She refocused on B2B and retailing directly from the factory. In 2016, Lynda opened Poppy’s Chocolate café. With COVID19, Lynda pivoted quickly focusing on online selling when 90% of Wholesale was lost and the café closed.

Louise Sharon Lugg

Louise has been in the spa and beauty industry for over 30 years. Owning her Award-winning day spa on the South Coast of NSW for 15 years.

She is a practitioner of Ayurveda Aromatherapy , Diploma of Management, Diploma Beauty Therapy, TAA Assessment & Training.

Louise is a mum of six children from 23 to 38. Five lovely grandchildren with one in heaven. A Husband and three cats.

Louise has been travelling the world as an International Spa Trainer for Subtle Energies for the past five years teaching her passion for spa at the most luxury icon destinations around the world such as Six Senses, Mandarin Oriental, Peninsula Hotels, Jumeriah, Four Season.

She feels very blessed to have a wonderful work life balance, Enjoying her family, Empowering her staff, Helping the community with recommendations of healthy daily routines plus get paid to travel the world to teach her passion.

Lana Kruger

Kristy Moore

Kristy Moore doesn’t let anything stop her from achieving her dreams and has overcome many obstacles to get where she is today. Kristy is more than just a mum. She runs her own travel agency, Travel Moore, is a Cancer and domestic violence survivor, lives with IBD (Crohn’s Disease), and is raising a child on the autism spectrum.

Kristy loves what she does, is passionate about her business, and also enjoys supporting other local women in business. Travel Moore was a dream 20 years in the making and is more than just a travel agency. Kristy has co-wrote her first book which was released in May. She is also in the process of creating a children’s book series about Australia.

Katrina Wurm

Katrina Wurm is a coach who supports women who expected one thing and got another. Having studied psychology and counselling, and with degrees in business, human resources management and industrial relations, she’s invested over 27 years working with people at QANTAS – training and facilitating them to better outcomes.

Behind her professional exterior, hid the pain of losing seven children. For over 12 years, she tried to get pregnant, until she gave birth to her son, who is now 12. He was born with and developed several health issues, making his journey through life challenging. Katrina’s been advocating for him from his birth. The journey through the school system, with a neurodiverse child, forged within her a desire to assist other mothers who advocate and manage raising a child, so they don’t lose themselves in the process.

Brenda Keane

Struggling with her health and how she felt about the shape of her body, Brenda decided it was time to get healthy, joining an online program she met women who like her wanted to get out and exercise but couldn’t find suitable quality activewear options to fit their deliciously curvy bodies.

As a Personal Trainer, training curvy women, she noticed their activewear, rode up, down or both, was not made to accommodate ample bosoms and yummy tummies.

“She had a dream” to create a range of activewear for CURVY women. Research showed that few ranges went beyond a 24. So after learning how to be Brave the BeKeane range was launched on February 14th with a love your body and gift yourself some leggings theme. They have a fun and functional range from a Bare to a Voluptuous (8-38). Known for their “out there” prints Bekeane is growing every year.

KYLIE MORT

Kylie Mort is an educational mentor and performance coach. Using her empowering story of overcoming horrific personal injury, she guides women past limiting-beliefs, toward fulfilment and connection. A teacher of 20 years, a professional academic tutor for a decade, and a dedicated mother, she helps people heal, focus and grow.

Multiple times Kylie has reimagined and recreated her career to better serve the needs of others. From secondary schoolteacher to creator of various companies in her rural township; including a truck workshop, a tuition centre and a business hub, she encourages and supports the dreams of those around her. Kylie’s empire was built on her maternal ability to provide for others.

Now as a published author and specialist, she continues to study for her true passion, stripping away commercial enterprises to focus on developing women and young people. Facilitating personal and academic accomplishment through positive connections and intrinsic awareness.

Candice Meisels PR

Provides PR Services and Support for Australian and New Zealand based Start-Ups and SMEs in a wide range of industries. Candice has achieved millions of dollars of coverage for clients across TV, Radio, Online and Print publications.

Candice previously worked with multi-national brands and understands the pressure placed on in-house Marketing and PR teams which is why she offers PR Campaign support to in-house teams.

Candice has also taught PR and Marketing, written two books on PR and Marketing and assists not for profits and charities where she can.

Elena Likopoulos

Elle is a mother of four kids under 10 (two of which are 18month old twins) and runs Absolute Business Brokers which is a family business. She is the highest earning sales agent in her firm and the first business broker to be invited by the Chinese government to speak in China to visa buyers.

Elle also host a podcast called The Mumpreneurs Club which is designed for career women with children and recently launched a non for profit support group for mumpreneurs navigating covid market and lockdown.

Elle’s role in Absolute Business Brokers is to motivate a male oriented group of agents to sell, manage the administration staff, any and all legal matters as well as steer the direction of the brand. She is driven to succeed to prove to women, there is no need to choose between career or children.

Laura Elizabeth

Laura Elizabeth is a dedicated holistic therapist, author and single mother in the Perth Hills. Laura creates intimate experiences for conscious womxn ready to step into a deeper layer of understanding, embracing and embodying their sensuality, reclaiming their voices and owning their power!
